Corsica doc festival: an event “tout pour la musique”

Consider these three elements: legends of music, great film director, all the beauty of the city where Napoleon Bonaparte was born. If you like this peculiar mix, there’s an event that you really shouldn’t miss during an autumn holiday in Corsica: it’s Corsica doc festival 2016, the festival of documentary that will take place in Ajaccio from October 19^th to 23^rd.

The event

To make a festival really fun, can you imagine a better idea than music? And this the same idea of the Corsica doc festival organizers. In fact, the essence of the 2016 edition can be described in this way: tout pour la musique, “all for the music”.

There are a lot of documentaries scheduled, dedicated to the great legends of music: Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Frank Zappa, David Bowie. And the name of the film directors don’t even need and introduction: Jean-Luc Godard, Jonathan Demme, Martin Scorsese, Lech Kowalski.

Ajaccio

Corsica doc festival 2016 will take place in the Espace diamant of Ajaccio. What better occasion to visit the main town of Corsica? Some of the most beautiful places to see in Ajaccio and surroundings are the Cathedral, the citadel, Place Foch, the Réserve naturelle de Scandola and the Sanguinaires islands.
