For your next vacation to Bastia, you have already created the itinerary with the things to see. Add a new item to your list: it’s the History museum of Bastia. One of the most famous and important museums of Corsica, not to be missed if you want to give your vacation a touch of culture.
The town planning, the political, social and economic relevance of the city, its intellectual and artistic wealth: these are the three cornerstones on which the permanent exhibition displayed in the rooms of the History museum are set. Each of these pillars has a specific section of the permanent exhibition that collects works of art, furniture, everyday objects.
All these things narrate the story of the ancient capital of Genoese Corsica.
Where it is
The museum is in avenue Pierre Giudicelli. Several shuttles to the museum leave from the railway station of Bastia. If you prefer to go by car, there is a pay and display parking nearby.
