Festi Lumi 2018

The white cliffs that are tinged with blue. Bonifacio as you have never seen it before, which will present itself to you in a way that is as unprecedented as it is spectacular. If you are spending a holiday in this city on the south coast of the island of beauty, you have to know that from 5 to 7 July the 2018 edition of Festi Lumi, the “festival of light” will be held

A dreamlike journey

Festi Lumi will be like making a dream trip. In the three days of the event, the inestimable historical, artistic and cultural heritage of Bonifacio, in the whole Haute Ville, will be made even more special by monumental video projections and plays of light, which will illuminate the streets, squares and monuments of Bonifacio of a magical and suggestive aura. In addition, during the days of the event several guided tours will be organized, which will allow you to discover the less known and more details of the city.

Holiday in Bonifacio

Now, we give a little bit more “tourist” advice, which will allow you to fully enjoy this holiday.

  • There are so many things to see in Bonifacio. The citadel, overlooking the famous white cliffs, is certainly one of the first. The aquarium is inevitable for those who are spending a holiday with children. The Marina is one of the liveliest areas, animated by many small towns, while the Escalier du Roi d’Aragon is a suggestive staircase that reaches the sea. And we have just mentioned the main places.
  • Not far from Bonifacio, there are three of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica: we are talking about Rondinara, Palombaggia (towards Porto Vecchio) and Roccapina. If you prefer beaches that are a little closer but still beautiful, we can suggest Plage de Sotta Rocca, Plage de la Catena and Plage de l’Arinella
