A little bit of Italy in Corsica: the Italian film festival of Bastia

Corsica in winter is enlivened by several events. And there’s one, in particular, that will make your holiday more “Italian”. We’re talking about the 2017 edition of the Italian film festival, which will take place in Bastia from February 4^th to 11^th.

Cinema…

Twenty-seven films, 54 screenings and five members to form the jury: these are the numbers of the new edition of the Festival du cinéma italien. Event that has become an unmissable appointment for cinema enthusiasts.

This year, the film of the festival are twelve: Alaska, L’attesa, Cloro, Io Arlecchino, Io e lei, Se Dio vuole, L’Oriana, Il nome del figlio, Una storia sbagliata, Nessuno si salva da solo, La terra dei santi, Scusate se esisto.

• In Bastia, the things to see are really several. So, even if passion for cinema brought you here, you should discover places such as Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Chapelle Notre Dame de Monserrato, Place Saint-Nicolas and Boulevard Paoli.
• In addition to this, Bastia could become the “starting point” of an itinerary to visit Corsica in seven days: the other stages are Porto Vecchio, Bonifacio, Ajaccio, Calvi, Ile-Rousse and finally back to Bastia.
