Patrimonio, Corsica: all the magic of The nights of guitar

Electric or acoustic. Played by young talents or established musicians. Capable of enchanting or infusing energy. All this is the guitar. Instrument that will be the protagonist of one of the most felt events that animate the summer in Corsica: the 2018 edition of The nights of guitar, to be held in Patrimonio from 20 to 27 July.

Les nuits de la guitare

Organized in the splendid setting of Patrimonio’s open-air theater, this festival is unique, because it will allow you to listen to all the musical genres that you can play with a guitar, from rock to blues through singer-songwriter, flamenco and gypsy music.

For twenty years, Les nuits de la guitare is an unmissable event for all music lovers, an event that always sees the participation of national and international artists: among the guests who will perform this year, there are example, Julien Clerc, Richie Kotzen and the Laura Cox Band.

How to get

Bastia is the largest town near Patrimonio and one of the most important ports where ferries dock for Corsica. To arrive, you must take, in order:

• The D264;
• The D81;
• The D333;

always following the directions for Patrimonio. The journey by car, which you can take on the ferry, takes about half an hour.

And after the music?

The evening of the event will, of course, be dedicated to music. But do not “limit yourself” to this. Because there are all the conditions to enjoy a pleasant holiday along the northern coast of Corsica: from Bastia, where you will arrive by ferry, to Calvi, there is a succession of beautiful beaches, picturesque villages and landscapes that will leave you speechless.
