Palombaggia beach: a plunge in one of the Corsican wonders

It is one of the most beautiful beaches of Corsica, and this would be enough to describe it. Palombaggia beach is much more. It is like a plunge in one of the several natural wonders that the island offers to all its visitors.
The beach – Palombaggia is just three kilometers long. The sand in very clear. Clear such as the sea, that reflects blue and turquoise shades. From the sea little smooth rocks rise. The water is shallow, ideal for a holiday with family.
Services – The beach is almost pristine and for this reason there are no services. Despite this, the beach is very crowded during summer.
Beaches near Palombaggia – There are other several beaches to see near Palombaggia. Plage de la Folacca and Plage d’Asciaghju are two rarely visited places. Plage de Cateraggio is a fine sand stripe, reachable by a short dirt road.
How to get there – Palombaggia beach is located near Porto Vecchio. Once you get off the ferry in Bonifacio, take the road N198 towards Porto Vecchio and follow the signs for the beach. There is a parking near the beach.
