The west coast of the island of beauty is the part of Corsica that you have chosen for your next vacation. As you surely know, here there are beautiful beaches. But not only: this 4-stages itinerary from Propriano to Ajaccio will allow you to admire the many faces of Corsica.
Stage #1: Filitosa
The “starting point” of the itinerary is the beautiful bay of Propriano (which you can see in the picture). From here, you can reach the archaeological site of Filitosa: for its menhirs, its ancient atmosphere and the mystery that surrounds it, its nickname is Corsican Stonehenge.
Stage #2: Coti Chiavari
From Propriano, a panoramic road will allow you to admire the gulf of Ajaccio. And it will take you to the small town of Coti Chiavari: it is suggestive, very impressive and completely surrounded by unspoiled nature.
Stage #3: punta di Sette Nave
The gulf of Ajaccio is a succession of peaks and cliffs that plunge into the sea and offer small but unforgettable beaches. Let them pass. Your destination is punta di Sette Nave: although it is not strictly a beach, the view it offers is spectacular.
Stage #4: Ajaccio
The point of arrival of this itinerary is the main town of Corsica. You can visit Ajaccio in one day and discover the most beautiful things to see of the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte, such as the Cathedral, the Imperial Chapel and the Napoleonic Museum.
Accept another good advice: the final stage can only be the coast from which you can see Sanguinaires Islands: this small achipelago will give you one of the most beautiful and romantic sunsets you will ever admire in your whole life.
