Every year in Corsica there are important rallies that call together the best pilots from all over the world. In addition to the famous Tour de Corse Historique, from 21 to 23 September the Rallye National de Corté 2018 will take place, a race now in its 31st edition that involves the heart of Corsica, all around the ancient capital Corte. Professional drivers on the international scene will compete on the most inaccessible roads of the island, putting all their skills and their experience in the field.
Up to 100 riders from all over the world can sign up for Rallye de Corté, a particularly challenging race for the nature of the territory that hosts it. The three stages are in fact in the Restonica gorges, an area of steep trails, much loved by hikers for breathtaking views and the nature as wild as it is impervious. The departure and arrival are located in the very beautiful city of Corte, but the route runs for over 450 km throughout the area surrounding the old capital. One thing is sure, the Rallye de Corté is an exciting show and an adrenaline experience both for those who compete and for those who assist.
For those interested in attending the Rallye de Corté, the localities to be considered are Bastia, on the north coast, and Ajaccio, on the west coast.
