Rondinara beach, Corsica: how to admire this little paradise

With Palombaggia, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. This place is simply heavenly: many people dream of lying comfortably on its sand, kissed by the sun and lulled by the waves of the sea. Many people dream of the beach of Rondinara. Just like you.

Beach & facilities

From above, Rondinara is nestled into a perfect bay. It is a fine white sand beach, surrounded by two rocky promontories covered with Mediterranean scrub. The sea is absolutely crystal-clear. In addition, the promontories create two coves that are ideal for mooring boats.

The beach is not particularly rich in services/facilities, but for this reason, it has kept all its beauty intact. The water is shallow for many meters, so it is a recommended destination during a holiday with children. There is only one flaw: Rondinara is always very crowded in summer.

The picture

Above, we have given you a sort of small “preview” of the beach. Now, the time has come to admire Rondinara in its entirety and beauty:

How to get

Reaching Rondinara is very simple. The beach is located exactly halfway between Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio. Just take the T10 road and D158 road following the signs to Rondinara: you will arrive at a small open space where a short dirt path leads to the beach.

By car (that you can take on one of the ferries to Corsica), it takes:

  • About 30 minutes to get from Bonifacio;
  • About 30 minutes to get to from Vecchio.

Parking

The small open space, where there is the path that leads to the beach, is a fairly large area where you can park your vehicle. Parking is not free.

Holiday by the sea

If you are looking for information on Rondinara, it means that you are thinking of spending a holiday by the sea. Well, to enjoy you vacation, we can give you useful information to enrich the trip.

Beaches of Porto Vecchio

Rondinara is just one of the most beautiful beaches of Porto Vecchio: in the surroundings of this renowned tourist resort, we have to mention, at least, Baia de San Ciprianu, Pinarellu and Canella. And the aforementioned Palombaggia, of course.

Beaches of Bonifacio

Southward, Bonifacio rises on its breathtaking white cliffs. Its beaches are more “intimate”, less frequented and, for this reason, even more special. For example, proves are Plage de Sotta Rocca, Plage de la Catena and Plage de l’Arinella.

Beaches of south Corsica

To give you a more complete overview of the area you are going to visit, here you have the most beautiful beaches in all of southern Corsica: in the list, there are places that would not even need introductions, such as Santa Giulia and Santa Manza.
