There are several reasons to have a holiday in Corsica: nature, cities, history, art, sport. But people choose this destination for one reason mainly: its beautiful beaches. If this is your reason too, there is one place that you absolutely have to see, on the south coast: it is the beach of Santa Giulia.
The beach – Santa Giulia is one of those classic beaches that can be described with just one word: paradise. Why? Simple: it is a strip of pristine sand, the sea is blue and turquoise, it is surrounded by lush nature. A place where you can spend a relaxing day. It has only one small flaw: it is always very crowded in summer.
Other beaches – You are on the south coast of Corsica, where, according to many, there is the best sea of the island. It is normal that there are other beautiful beaches near Santa Giulia. One for all: the famous Palombaggia. The two beaches are so close that you can visit them on the same day.
How to get there – The beach of Santa Giulia, among the most beautiful of Corsica, is easily reachable: it is located just eight kilometers from Porto Vecchio town. To get there, just take the N198 road towards Bonifacio and follow the signs to Santa Giulia (it is recommended to move with a car or a motorcycle, carried on the ferryboat).
