Corsica: the beach of Santa Giulia is a real spectacle of nature

There are many reasons to enjoy a holiday in Corsica, among nature, cities, history, art, sport. Many people, however, choose this destination for a specific reason: its enchanting beaches. If this is also your reason, there is one place that you absolutely must see, on the south coast: it is the beach of Santa Giulia.

The beach

Santa Giulia is one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica. A beach that you won’t hesitate to define heavenly. Why? Simple: it is a strip of immaculate sand, the sea has blue and turquoise shades, and it’s surrounded by lush nature. A place to enjoy a day dedicated to total relaxation. It has only one small flaw: in summer it is always very crowded.

How to get

The beach of Santa Giulia, in addition to being among the most beautiful in Corsica, is also very easy to reach: it is located just eight kilometers south of Porto Vecchio.

To get there, just take the N198 road towards Bonifacio and follow the signs to Santa Giulia (we advise you to get there by car or motorbike, vehicles that you can take on the ferries to Corsica).

The nearby beaches

You are on the south coast of Corsica, where, according to many, there is absolutely the best sea on the island. Not surprisingly, there are other splendid beaches near Santa Giulia. Beaches such as, for example, plage de Porto-Novo, plage d’Acciaju and plage de la Folaca. And Palombaggia, of course.

The beach of Palombaggia

This beach deserves a special mention. Palombaggia and Santa Giulia are so near that can be both visited in one day. And it’s worth it: Palombaggia is a three-kilomtre-long beach where nature gave its best.

The map of the beaches

After the information about Santa Giulia and nearby Palombaggia, we can give you another, precious tip to discover the sea of the island of beauty: the map of the best Corsican beaches.
