Ferries from Livorno to Ile Rousse: compare and book
Ile Rousse is a delightful Corsican town. Ile Rousse means ‘Red Island’, because of the colour of the granite that makes up Ile de la Pietra, a small island linked to the mainland by a causeway. Ile Rousse is famous for a lovely beach right in the heart of the city.

Departure, arrival and duration
By virtue of its proximity to Corsica, the port of Livorno stands in a strategic location for getting to Corsica. You can reach the boarding pier rather easily, because it is well connected to the main motorway junctions, but also to the rail network. If you want to reach Livorno by plane, we recommend the airports of Pisa and Florence, as they are the closest ones.
The estimated journey time to reach your destination is about 6 hrs.
The port of Ile Rousse is in the northern part of Corsica. It is a tourist port used also for fishing on the Red Island, which is connected to the coast by a tongue of land. The marina is located southwest of the dock.
